iv3 section left Fractal Program for Linux and Win32 iv3 section right

A cross platform fractals program. It currently supports the Mandelbrot, and Julia sets although others are being worked on. It also has support for palette or greyscale modes, fixed and floating point arithmetic.

Work completed so far/Recent Changes:
  • Portable floating-point and integer mandelbrot functions
  • GTK+ Front end for Linux and possibly other Unix types
  • Win32 Front end (for Windows!) and possibly nothing else
  • Added julia function (small redesign was necessary)
  • Fixed bugs in win32 port for 0.0.4 - images are now drawn the right way up and with proper colours

iv3 section left Mobile Phone Ring Tone Decoder for XMMS and Winamp iv3 section right

This is a cross platform decoder for Mobile Phone Ring Tones. It will decode tones in several languages including Nokia Composer, Ring Tone Text Transfer Language (RTTTL), and eventually many others.

Work completed so far:
  • Created Nokia Composer language decoder
  • Note -> PCM synthesizer now sounds like a real phone
  • Created plug-in interface for XMMS
  • Created plug-in interface for Winamp
  • Updated timing functions to make them more accurate
  • Lots of other stuff
